The Allaluna Hokusai 2027 Wall Calendar brings the celebrated work of Katsushika Hokusai into everyday view, in a distinctive fold out format that sets it apart from a conventional wall calendar. Hokusai remains one of Japan's most influential artists, best known for The Great Wave off Kanagawa and his landmark series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji, works that went on to shape generations of European painters, including Monet and van Gogh.
Each month unfolds to reveal a different Hokusai woodblock print, capturing the ukiyo-e tradition's distinctive blend of natural serenity and seasonal change. The calendar includes moon phases, international holidays and zodiac signs for every month, and its calendarium is presented across seven languages, Italian, English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese, making it a genuinely versatile choice for an international household or workplace.
The calendar closes to a compact 30 x 30 cm square, opening out to 60c m x 30 cm for wall display, with a simple hanging hole for easy mounting.
