The Gifted Hands Felt Animal Christmas Decorations are handmade in Nepal from 100% New Zealand wool felt, with each character individually crafted by women’s co-operatives. The collection features a distinctive range of animal designs, from Australian favourites such as koalas, bilbies, cockatoos and echidnas to other native and familiar animals.
Each felt Christmas decoration is finished with a red and white hanging string, ready to display on the Christmas tree. The natural wool felt gives each decoration a tactile quality, while the hand finished construction and individual animal designs bring a considered, characterful element to seasonal decorating.
Gifted Hands works with women’s co-operatives in Nepal, and a portion of sales supports the Nepal Children’s Education Fund. The use of 100% New Zealand wool also provides a natural, biodegradable material for these handmade Christmas ornaments.
