Japanese Lace Paper is a distinctive form of decorative washi, recognised for its delicate openwork patterns, translucent quality and fine fibre texture. Traditionally made using fibres such as kozo (mulberry) and hemp, these papers combine a light, intricate appearance with the strength and durability characteristic of Japanese washi.

The collection includes a selection of finely patterned papers, including Wa Lace Amime, Wa Lace Koume, Wa Lace Uzumaki and Wa Lace Seikanami. Their subtle translucency allows light to pass through the paper, making them particularly suited to lampshades, lanterns, screens and other decorative applications.
